The 5884 House vision of Omar Mediouni, owner of The Casablanca Bistro, La Casa takes on the tradition of excellence for food and entertainment that all of Mediouni's ventures have. Tapas food is real food - good local ingredients presented with flair. The idea comes from Andalusia. It started, so they say with a piece of bread, soon topped with ham or cheese, and balanced over a glass, to keep out anything from getting into the drink. The word tapa means to cover. Tapas were once free snacks included in a price of the drink.
